District Highlights

The 31st district is home to hard-working Kansans who have a passion of improving their quality of life. The district consists of Harvey County and extends into northern Sedgwick County.  While driving through the district, you have the opportunity to experience the Dyck Arboretum of the Plains, Hesston College, Bethel College, Kauffman Museum, 81 Speedway, Hesston Golf Course, and several other attractions. Our district is also home to Hartman Arena, a great places to catch a concert or an in-door football game, and the Kansas Pavilion, a multipurpose facility that hosts horse, livestock and dog shows, flea markets, car, truck and motorcycle shows; and more!

The 31st district continues to have a traditional businesses that are always looking for new ways to provide services or put food on our table through agriculture.   Because of forward thinking citizens, the 31st district is primed to be a leader in the wind industry bringing 100′s of new jobs into the area.
